A little bit about Political Correctness

A Little Bit about Political Correctness

"The avoidance, often considered as taken to extremes, of forms of expression or action that are perceived to exclude, marginalize, or insult groups of people who are socially disadvantaged or discriminated against."

I always thought that political correctness was ridiculous.  Why?
The idea that everyone has to accept other peoples beliefs is what got to me.

Not because we shouldn't accept people but because we should be forced into an the idea of other peoples life styles.  We should be forced to accept their beliefs.  And we can't say anything that offends them.

Yes, we shouldn't be offensive. I agree.  However, how are going to not offend someone by saying "I don't support black lives matter.""I don't support homosexual marriages."   ... and so on.

The thing is, today people are split up into parties and religions.

Democrats, you call Republicans: Fools, Extortionists, Squealing Political Pigs!
Republicans, you call Democrats: Snowflakes, Wingnut, Idiots!
Right here you can already see a division of parties.

And this, my millennial friends, is the beginning of why political correctness cannot and will not become a thing.

Ben Nelson has said "The primary purpose of a university isn’t to prepare students for a career. It’s to prepare them for life."

Yes, along with college you must prepare your students for the ways of life.  However, has anyone noticed that MOST universities are preparing millennials for a liberal life style?  This is a one way life style.

They focus more on where your political views "should" be rather than the real world.
Political Correctness says you cannot be offensive.

My dear millennials, it is hard to not offend you.

We are the Millennials, we are the future.  We are weak.

We are offended by people who do not support our own beliefs.  "I don't support homosexual marriages"  "You are a bigot"

I am sure you are familiar with the term Bigot.  A person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

I find interesting that the definition says someone who is INTOLERANT.  Now because someone doesn't support you, you rightfully have the place to name call and then later say we need to be politically correct.

I do apologize but apart of being politically correct is not to offend people.  Calling one a bigot is not considered offensive at this point because they don't support you?
Do you not see the hypocrisy in this?

Listen Millennials, I understand you want to be accepted.  No matter what group you're in.  It's hard to walk alone.  Do not let other people offend you by simply having different opinions.  That is the down fall of a nation.  We are split into so many different categories, beliefs, political views, that we are dividing from each other, making a political correctness even harder to reach.

Long story short, political correctness will not and cannot be met because people will always have different opinions, religious views, and life style.  Does it make them bad?  Certainly not.

Someone who is homosexual to me is no different than someone who holds a faith or religion. Why is that?  Because we are all people.  We all fall short, We all have the same emotions, we all have a life to live.  Yes, different life styles.  But we are all at the end of the day loved by someone.

Don't focus on being something we cannot reach because of a division in any nation.  Focus on how you can make each day better by doing something nice for another.  That's the best thing you can do.

Comparing Taylor and Martin's

Comparing Taylor and Martin Acoustic Guitars

Hey everyone, today I thought that I would do something new on my blog.  As a bit of an update and informative blog.

If you do not know much about guitars, then be ready to be informed.  Taylors, the type of guitar I have, tend to have a beautiful bright sound whereas Martins, the type of guitar my father has, have a deeper and more rich sound.

Both guitars are extremely beautiful.  I am not here to tell you the type of guitar you should get, don't let anyone tell you what guitar you should get.  You will be able to know what guitar is right for you when you listen and play it.

Let's start with the Taylor guitar.  The Taylor guitars are absolutely beautiful.  Even with an acoustic guitar you don't have to plug it in to make it seem louder.  The brightness of the guitar is everything you could ever want in the guitar, naturally makes the beauty such a loud young guitar.

As in any guitar you can purchase, Taylor's come in many different types of wood, shapes, and of course sounds.  Depending on the body.

And of course the line of people who played the Taylor guitar is very impeccable Dave Matthews, Tony Iommi, Jason Mraz, and Taylor Swift.  Don't get me wrong there are more which I am sure you can do on more research.

Now, according to www.songsimian.com one of the best out of the acoustic Taylor's you can get is the Taylor 114e Grand Auditorium.  Songsimian states that

Delphi's Tragedy (Not New Information)

Delphi's Tragedy (Not New Information)

Hey everyone!  Let me start off this blog by saying, I am not giving you any new information, I have no knowledge of any new information, I only know what the police is allowing us to know.  I will link other News articles at the end of this blog if you need further information.

The point of this article is not to give you newer information, but to give you a short summary of everything that has happened in Delphi in the past month and tell you what it is like for someone who grew up here to see all of this happening.

So let's start with the tragedy of the two beautiful young ladies Abby Williams and Libby German.

February 13th both girls have gone hiking on the trails by High Bridge.  A bridge commonly known for teens my age and younger to hangout.  Both girls had not come home that same day and were found the next day dead.

It is a tragedy to see such young girls full of life to go.  It would be a tragedy for anyone at any age to die in such a way.  Right now our police men and FBI are working so very hard to find out the man/men who did this to the girls.  I encourage you all to keep the families and officers in your prayers as they continue this search and the family get through this stage of mourning safely.

Guys, I also seriously encourage you that if you know, or are familiar with the man in the picture or the voice in the recording or have any suspicions, PLEASE call this tip line:  Any tip could be a start of finding this man.
