Comparing Taylor and Martin Acoustic Guitars
Hey everyone, today I thought that I would do something new on my blog. As a bit of an update and informative blog.
If you do not know much about guitars, then be ready to be informed. Taylors, the type of guitar I have, tend to have a beautiful bright sound whereas Martins, the type of guitar my father has, have a deeper and more rich sound.
Both guitars are extremely beautiful. I am not here to tell you the type of guitar you should get, don't let anyone tell you what guitar you should get. You will be able to know what guitar is right for you when you listen and play it.
Let's start with the Taylor guitar. The Taylor guitars are absolutely beautiful. Even with an acoustic guitar you don't have to plug it in to make it seem louder. The brightness of the guitar is everything you could ever want in the guitar, naturally makes the beauty such a loud young guitar.
As in any guitar you can purchase, Taylor's come in many different types of wood, shapes, and of course sounds. Depending on the body.
And of course the line of people who played the Taylor guitar is very impeccable Dave Matthews, Tony Iommi, Jason Mraz, and Taylor Swift. Don't get me wrong there are more which I am sure you can do on more research.
Now, according to www.songsimian.com one of the best out of the acoustic Taylor's you can get is the Taylor 114e Grand Auditorium. Songsimian states that
"In the world of Taylor guitars, this is considered entry-level, but it’s honestly the top of what an entry-level guitar can be."
(Lets give a round of applause for songsimian)
Now, we can move on to the Martin guitar.
Although I love to tease my dad on Taylor's being the best guitars, Martins are undeniable beautiful guitars. Very deep and rich sounding guitars. Also a very wonderful playing guitar. Easy to play and when you strum it you can't go wrong.
Now if you are looking specifically for a Martin and you can't settle for any other guitar, then there is no right or wrong answer to what Martin guitar is better. You cannot go wrong with Martins either. It is more dependent on what style of music you prefer to play.
As far as a small list of who has a Martin guitar here you go.
Neil Young, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, John Mayer, Johnny Cash.
All legendary guitarists/singers.
So the point of this is to compare them. Which as you can see there is a difference in these two fantastic guitars. As I said before Taylor's are Bright sounding, you can go from finger picking to strumming and you can't go wrong with either.
Then you have the Martin guitar, A deep and rich sounding guitar. which I would preferable use for the blue's type of genre.
Either way you guys, both guitars are extraordinary guitars and whatever you choose out of these two guitars, you can't go wrong. Both absolutely stunning.
I hope this helped you know a little bit more about each guitar. Now remember, don't let anyone tell you what guitar is best. You have to find that out on your own. And when you hear the right sounds and feel of the guitar you'll know.
Anyways, thank you guys for reading! If you want me to compare any other guitars let me know in the comment section below which ones I should compare next for you.
other than that guys, I will be signing off, and have a wonderful day/evening. Go be a light to the World!
